If we have your property for sale:

We will continue to advertise your property online and through various marketing mediums to ensure we don't miss out on potential buyers. This element will not change. At present, we will not be able to conduct viewings or face-to-face appointments due to government advice but rest assured, we will compose lists of interested applicants that have contacted us for a viewing and talk them through the property in detail using our already informed knowledge.  This will mean that when viewings are again possible, we will contact them and yourselves to arrange appointments.

 

If your sale is in solicitors hands already:

Rest assured, we are continuing to work very hard so that the sale of your property continues if this is still practical. We are keeping in very close contact with solicitors and other agents in the chain to ensure we are updated on your situation. We will of course then keep in close contact with you to advise you on the current situation.

If you are looking to sell your property:

Let's start with hello! We are still welcoming any new instructions at this time, however these may be carried out in a different way than usual until the lockdown has been lifted. Alternatively to this, we can offer general advice to help you prepare your property prior marketing.

Purchasers

If you are looking to buy:

Please continue to do so, the property market will continue as normal and by registering with us as an applicant we can keep you up to date with any properties that may fit your requirements. You can do this by selecting 'get in touch' on the menu above and selecting 'register with us'. You can also do this by emailing or calling us on the contact details listed above and we will be glad to hear from you.

If you are in the process of buying:

Rest assured, we are continuing to work very hard so that the purchase of your property continues if this is still practical. We are keeping in very close contact with solicitors and other agents in the chain to ensure we are updated on your situation. If we have your property to let:

If you have a fully managed service:

As we are operating from remote locations, we will continue to be able to assist both landlords and tenants by phone and email. Services that are usually conducted in person, will be assessed individually depending on the urgency of the situation. How we then proceed will be determined by this.

If you are looking to let your property:

If you are are tenant in a property we fully manage:

For all communications, please contact us on info@marchantsestateagents.co.uk. Due to the restrictions we are currently placed under by the UK government, we can only instruct key contractors to visit for emergencies at present. All other maintenance issues can of course be reported to us, but you may have to wait for these to be addressed due to the current lockdown orders. When contacting us, please leave details of your address, name and contact number and the outline of your emergency, and we will respond as soon as possible.
