Peter - Managing Partner & Director
Peter started his career in estate agency with his first job in 1967. Having worked in Mid Sussex since 1976, he has overseen sales of over 5000 properties during his time and has a wealth of experience to impart. He is a fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents and holds a certificate of practice in estate agency. Living locally, Peter is married with children and enjoys football, tennis and good food.
Wendy - Partner & Company Secretary
Wendy has now been working in the business for 20 years and has expertise in promotion, customer service and community organisations. She closely monitors our applicant database and has a passion for property renovation. Having previously project managed in the past, she listens and understands what buyers and sellers look for in properties and can market them from a unique perspective. Wendy is married with children and enjoys the cinema, eating out, gardening and DIY.
Sharon - Sales Manager
Sharon has now been with Marchants since 2010 and has an intuitive ability to match applicants to property and to facilitate a smooth purchasing process. Her attitude towards customer service is second to none and that is proved time and time again with her ability to problem solve and assist with any sales or lettings queries customers may have. Sharon lives with her partner and two children. She is a keen member of Hassocks book club and knows possibly every good dog walk in the local area.
Bennita - Lettings Manager
Having joined Marchants in 2017, Bennita uses her organisational skills and eye for detail to effectively manage the day-to-day tasks associated with the lettings portfolio. With a background in design and property refurbishment project management, Bennita has brought her wealth of knowledge to Marchants by working closely with the team and clients. She enjoys the creative arts and dog walks in her spare time.
Joe - IT & Marketing
Joe has been with Marchants since 2005 and is a vital member of the team. His role in the company is to ensure Marchants is at the forefront of technology. Whether this is modern software, photography applications or online advertising, Joe is the expert when it comes to anything technical. Having an in-house tech expect means we have an advantage when it comes to advertising and marketing properties and land. Joe is married with two sons and enjoys walks with his dog, nature photography and films.
Justine - Negotiator and Sales Progressor
Also based in the local area, Justine has a keen eye for property speculation and investment purchases. This plays a key role in her ability to advise both homeowners and purchasers what potential may be found in a property or land. Having joined the team in 2018, Justine is very experienced with the local market and happy to help with any enquiries you may have.
Cher - Sales Assistant
As the newest member of the team, Cher joined Marchants at the start of 2023 and has since played a key role in building strong relationships with both applicants and vendors. Her roles on a Saturday include accompanying viewings, providing feedback to vendors, and answering enquiries. Cher’s wealth of customer service experience and knowledge of property has contributed to her being a valuable key member of the team.
